Why do we need donations or fundraisers?
Little Hands is a stand alone nonprofit 501(c)(3) childcare center, unlike many other childcare centers in the area who receive donations, funding, or facility usage through either a church, United Way, YMCA, etc. Therefore, it is a challenge to continue to provide affordable childcare to our community while paying the expenses of our staff, supplies, food, facility, utilities, etc. For this reason we rely on donations from our supportive community members, grants, fundraisers, and other funding opportunities to continue to keep our rates affordable for our families.
